I decided to train in Hypnotherapy after learning about the Subconscious. I'm proud to have trained at Chrysalis with tutor Chris Padro who is a specialist in holistic hypnosis and a brilliant practitioner.
I am amazed by the positive changes Hypnosis has given me - completely curing my IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) Moth Phobia, Flying and helping to strengthen my confidence in many ways.

Hypnotherapy is a completely natural relaxing state which we all enter many times each day. You may find yourself entering this state when you're driving down a familiar road, standing in a queue, reading, watching TV or mowing the lawn etc. It's when we enter this state that we are receptive to positive suggestions.

Hypnosis is a fast and effective way of making positive change. It's completely safe and natural and along with the input of a trained and confident therapist - it can create positive changes in mental and physical well being. Hypnosis cannot make you do anything that you do not want to do, or that you morally object to. You cannot get stuck in hypnosis - you can leave the state whenever you wish.

What happens ?

During the consultation I gather infomation based on personal circumstances, some of this is then written into your script (a detailed account of the positive changes you wish to make). I use NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) along with positive suggestions in order to create the script to suit you best.
I use a bio feedback monitor which is placed around two of your fingers - this enables me to see when you're deeply relaxed. Then the script is delivered to you (read back to you) which may be assisted with music (depending on your preference). This encourages you to relax deeply allowing the subconscious to change through the power of positive suggestion. All you need to do is listen and relax deeply, all the time you remain deeply relaxed, aware, in control and able to wake when you wish.
